Refund Policy

Because each donation directly funds the planting of a real tree, donations are generally non-refundable. However, we want every donor to feel comfortable supporting our mission.

1. When Refunds Are Possible

  • Duplicate payment: if you accidentally paid twice for the same donation.
  • Failed verification: if your UPI payment could not be verified and no tree was allocated.
  • Incorrect amount: if you paid an amount different from the selected plan.

2. How to Request a Refund

Email support@plantatree.org within 7 days of your payment with your UPI transaction ID, the date of the payment, and the reason for the refund. Our team responds within 3–5 business days.

3. Processing Time

Approved refunds are returned to the original UPI account within 7–10 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Once a Tree ID and certificate have been issued and the tree has been planted.
  • Change of mind after the tree has been allocated to a planting site.
